Unitex produces three major models of double knit machines. The high production UDX Interlock series maximizes the production of double jersey fabrics while the UDX Rib series covers the high production rib and the more versatile version which allows for more changes in the fabric structure. Combining the above two models is the UDX InterRib or 8-Lock machine which is the most versatile of all double knit designs. Allowing 4 tracks on cylinder and 2 tracks on dial, this model enables knitters to produce literally any double knit fabric structures available in the market. |
| An 8-Lock machine must be equipped with the individual cylinder stitch
cambox system to enable knitters to produce multiple special fabric structures
through delay cam timing.
The individual cylinder stitch cambox is made with precision investment casting to accommodate the four adjustable cam positions for exact needle positioning. |
